A kitten heel is a type of shoe or boot with a thin, low heel that is usually 1 to 2 inches or less. They look as cute as they sound! Kitten heel style was popularized by Audrey Hepburn, and has even been used by many politicians, including Theresa May, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton, among others.
I have definitely found myself wearing a lot of sneakers during the pandemic. The few times I have had meetings that were not by zoom, I wore my kitten heels and they were the perfect pair of transition shoes for me. I still don’t feel ready for my 6-inch heels. Kittens gave me the tiny bit of elevation I needed while “polishing” my outfit. I will be sporting my kitten heels when we are back in the office full-time. Here are some of my favorite kitten heels.
