Hi, I’m Melissa, but you can call me Mel. I’m so glad you’re here!

After moving across the world to the United States on my own at 16 years old, and earning my MBA by the age of 21, I started building my life and career in the legal industry in Los Angeles. In 2014, I changed my whole life (once again), and made the bittersweet decision to leave Los Angeles, switch jobs, and move across the country to New York City. A year later, I met my husband Justin, who I call my “Blue” for his beautiful blue eyes, and we got married in Tuscany in 2018. I became not only Justin’s wife, but also a bonus mom to his beautiful daughter Francesca, who just graduated from college!

I am the only daughter of amazing parents who have practically managed to love and nurture me, and teach me everything I know from across the world for more than 20 years. I may be an only child, but I am fortunate to be a member of a big and close-knit family!

Today, Justin and I live in New York with our amazing baby girl Siena. Finding love, becoming a mother, and leading in a fast-paced worldwide organization in this vibrant and soulful city have all been a dream come true.

While I may be the youngest chief executive in a billion-dollar organization and work on major growth and development projects, personally, I have also always been the go-to source for fashion and styling do’s and don’ts, places to stay, baby registries, must-try restaurants, and the best pilates studios in town. My friends look to me for advice on where to work, eat, shop, stay, and travel.

Over the years, as I discovered my passion for sharing my experiences and recommendations with my friends and family, my vision for GiaMel became crystal clear. I created this community so I can share all the things I love with you. Whether you need advice on your relationship, guidance on growing your career, a must-do list for your Tuscan vacation, skincare product recommendations, or styling suggestions, I’m here to be your inspiration and guide!

I created this community to provide the inspiration, motivation, and empowerment I need and can’t find. I am grateful for your trust and loyalty, and I am committed to guiding and serving you with authenticity, respect, and integrity. I promise to only share and promote what I honestly love and believe to be a worthy investment of your time and resources. I am fiercely devoted to building this community and give my readers the advice, recommendations, and support I would give to a sister or a lifelong friend.
